First step in construction of a model (pattern) that will be repeated throughout the whole picture, in this case is our net. Create a new document File>New... bring in the meanings 6x6 pixels and fix the background to be transparent (click on transparent). Now click on OK . Zoom a new document by choosing a loop (Zoom tool) and fit on screen. Put the color of the first plan to be white (shortcut: mouse D and then mouse X). Take a pencil (pencil tool), choose a size form one pixel and start to make a frame so that the inside stays transparent (pic. left). Now its time to define a model, so you will go to Edit>Define Pattern.. and for a name write: the Net.

What you need to do next is to open the picture through which you would like to spread the net and then go to Edit>Fill. (shortcut : Shift+ Backspace), you will see a window for filling (Fill). From the menu choose Pattern and in the Custom Pattern find a model that you made in the step above, your Net. Other meanings leave like they are given and why i will explain in the next step.
Click OK.
Now you got a Net over the whole picture. One more thing you need to do is to fix it like you wish. Click Ctrl+Shift+F or go to Edit>Fade... a window where you can fix the meanings will open , those are the ones that we skipped in the step above , and now you can see the following changes that also make our job easier.
In my case Opacity is the same: 100% but the Mode is on Soft Light.
