Simple but usefull efect of adding the ton on the selection or the whole layer. Start by openning a picture on which you would like to do your efect. File>Open...
Polygonal Lasso
When you've openned your picture, make a selection around the object that you'd like to show off, and you can do that by choosing Polygonal lasso (L) and by small steps start to make your selection . This kind of a selection will be very sharp at the angles so you'll need to soften them by Select>Modify>Smooth... and at which spot u need to bring its' meaning 1 (meaning adopt to needs, lets say if the picture is big make it bigger but fairly, don't over do.) If you alerady know the best way to work the selection use it. When the selection is done you have to make a new layer so it can be totally separated from the background. You can do that by Copy&Paste method (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V) , or press Ctrl+J. In the panoe Layers you can see the layer that you've created (Layer 1) which becomes totally independent from the background. A new layer should stay active.
Next step is going to Image>Adjustments> Hue/Saturation.. in the bottom right angle over Preview is option Colorize that you'll need to make active by one click on the empty space under Next , bring its' meanings for Hue: 200, Saturation :50 and LIghtness : 10 and
click OK.
Now you need to bring Colorize to the background . In the panoe Layers click with your left mouse on the Background (background needs to become active). Next, Image>Adjustments> Hue/Saturation..., check Colorize, put next meanings Hue: 0, Saturation: 75, Lightness: 0 and click OK. The last step is Filter>Blur>Radial Blur... Check Zoom, quality: Good and bring in the meaning of 50. Then click OK.
The meanings that are given can be changed depending on your needs. If some of your pictures are in Greyscale mode switch them to RGB (Image>Mode>RGB) and then use Colorize. Continue to exeperiment.
